Francis Andrew “Andy” Pritt 1958-2021 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Francis Andrew \u201cAndy\u201d Pritt, age 63 years, a resident of Beverly, WV departed this life late Thursday evening, April 29, 2021 at the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV, with his loving family at his side. He had been in declining health although death was unexpected.He was born Friday, January 3, 1958 at Mill Creek, WV, a son of the late Bonie Hutton Pritt and Ora \u201cNellie\u201d Howell Pritt.Surviving are two daughters, Andrea Marie Corley and husband Craig and Jessica Ann Pritt, all of Elkins; one son, Roger Isner and wife Pam of Elkins; longtime companion, Leanne Kovach Witsoe of Beverly and her family; two brothers, Christopher and Bonnie Pritt; seven grandchildren, Gavin, Owen, Aurora and Holden Isner, Russell and Gabriella Corley, and Kaiden Kisner; and several nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death are two brothers, Benjamin and George Madison Pritt; three sisters, Bessie Catherine Pritt-bodkin, Katie Belle and Linda Larene Pritt.He was a graduate of Elkins High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the WV Army National Guard for twenty five plus years, serving time during Desert Storm with 1st Battalion 201st Field Artillery Regimen. He worked as a parts runner for Bauer\u2019s Lumber Co., and later worked for Chris Polino. He was involved with coaching his children\u2019s baseball team, was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W., and before being disabled enjoyed hunting and fishing.The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 9 AM to 11 AM the funeral hour. The Rev. Terry Cannon will officiate and the WV Army National Guard Honor Guard Program, the H. W. Daniel\u2019s Post # 29, American Legion and the Tygarts Valley Post # 3647 Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct full military honors. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date at the Pritt Cemetery on Dry Run at Mill Creek, WV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
