{"id":111681,"date":"2022-02-09T19:11:06","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T19:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/2021-obituary-2\/"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","slug":"john-edward-lewis-1953-2021-obituary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/john-edward-lewis-1953-2021-obituary\/","title":{"rendered":"John Edward Lewis 1953-2021 Obituary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">John Edward Lewis 1953-2021 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a style=\"color:Tomato; \" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randolph-county-west-virginia-area-obituaries\/\">Return to Randolph County Area Obituaries Home Page<\/a><\/center><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p>John Edward Lewis, age 68, of Weston, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born in Weston on April 27, 1953, a son of the late Urban Junior and Eula Mae Dolan Lewis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is survived by his stepmother Charlotte Lewis of Weston. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 28, 1987, he was united in marriage to Pamela K. Collins Lewis, who survives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also surviving are one daughter Samantha Stewart of Burnsville; two grandsons: Devon Jaymz Stewart, who resided at the home, and Jhonathan Jerome Stewart of Burnsville; an \u201cadopted grandson\u201d Tyrus Ables; two brothers: Stanley Lewis and wife Pam and James Lewis and wife JoAnn, both of Weston; one step-brother Rodney Hoover and wife Becky of Buckhannon; two brothers-in-law and several sisters-in-law, including his \u201cfavorite\u201d sister-in-law Patricia Richard of Selbyville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his Navy brothers: Greg Eames, Carroll Bland, Dick and Mike St. Pierre, Robert Brost, and Paul Proctor; and two very special friends: Denzil Wine and Sandra Allen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one step-brother Bobby Hoover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the US Navy and had served aboard the USS John F.
