After the Ni-Cad batteries in the Drill Master Drill Driver started showing signs of slowly losing their life, I was looking for a new Drill\/Driver<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warrior came out with a new drill\/driver with a lithium battery, the drill\/dirver was a little small and just a little lighter, so it seemed it would work out ok, so I purchased one, and later a second one, I liked it that much<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warrior Drill\/Driver has a lot of power and the battery has power to last a long time and provides full power right up until it goes dead<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lithium batteries are amazing, they provide full power right up until they are out of power, no gradual tapering off of power as the battery goes dead, and you can wait about 15-30 seconds and it a little more life out of it, but that a sure thing they need charged<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Litthium batteries also have no ‘memory’, so you can charge them when they are 1\/2 dead, and you’ll still have full use of all the battery’s power, Ni-Cad batteries will remember you charged them at 1\/2 power, and quit working when you reach 1\/2 power again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ni-Cad batteries require battery management, always discharge to zero power, and do not leave on the charger any longer than needed to get a full charge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lithium-ION batteries do not have these limitation, so they are a lot better batteries overall and much easier to use<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warrior line was just accessories for years, sanding belts, drill and router bits, but over the last few years, they have expanded the Warrior line to include power Tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harbor Freight is moving all the Drill Master tools left to the Warrior line – the Drill Master 4 1\/2 Grinder is an example, its the same drill, just with an orange Warrior Label and 2x the price, the detail sander was also moved to the warrior line, and released a bench saw and a 12v drill driver<\/p>\n\n\n\n
