{"id":111942,"date":"2022-02-27T04:42:42","date_gmt":"2022-02-27T04:42:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/2021-obituary-2\/"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","slug":"randall-jackson-brake-1956-2010-obituary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randall-jackson-brake-1956-2010-obituary\/","title":{"rendered":"Randall Jackson Brake 1956-2010 Obituary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">Randall Jackson Brake 1956-2010 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a style=\"color:Tomato; \" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randolph-county-west-virginia-area-obituaries\/\">Return to Randolph County Area Obituaries Home Page<\/a><\/center><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chaplain Randall Jackson Brake<\/strong>, age 54 years, a resident of Elkins, met his loving Savior at 2:40 AM Monday, August 2, 2010 at his home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He had been in declining health for the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born June 23, 1956 in Elkins, a son of the late Kenneth Lane Brake and the late Margaret Mae Brake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 8, 1984 in Elkins he was married to Kathy Jane Sullivan Brake who survives in Elkins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also surviving are two sisters, Juanita Lee and husband Kevin, Virginia Beach, VA and Angela Marie Swecker of Elkins, three brothers, Phillip Wayne Brake and Kathy, Berkeley Springs, WV, Elmer A. Kisner, Jr., St. Mary\u2019s, WV and Gary Lee Kisner of Elkins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was &#8220;Poppa Fred&#8221; to several nieces and nephews including Kyatt, who is also his goddaughter, Darby and Derek Bailey, Calista and Albert Chewning, Zach Berg, Hailey and Hannah Bonnett, Abigale Gooden, Morgan Vance and Sam Brake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also leaves behind his caretaker for the past two years, Tonya Calhoun and special pets, Jasper, Harper Lee and Raven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Randall was an Ordained Elder of the Church of the Nazarene and a former pastor of the Mt.
