Encil Zickefoose, 90, of Trubie Run near Buckhannon, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003, at Davis Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was born Nov. 12, 1912, in Newlon, the son of the late James Zickefoose and Iway Tenney Zickefoose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Dec. 25, 1932, he married Mary Frances Crites Zickefoose, who preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Richmond of Charleston and Mary Kay Light of Buckhannon; one son, Robert Zickefoose of Alliance, Ohio; one brother, Junior Zickefoose of French Creek; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Evelyn Henry; two brothers, Dennis Zickefoose and Rex Zickefoose; and two sisters, Opal Dill and Elvia Case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Zickefoose was employed in maintenance at West Virginia Wesleyan College, was a coal miner and worked for Bell Nursery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rev. Wease Day will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
