Izella Mae Ours Tenney, daughter of Virgil and Ora Belle Fox Ours, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, passed away on May 5, 2002 after a long period of illness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was married to Rev. Hayward Lester Tenney, Sr., on May 15, 1945.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is preceded in death by both parents, Virgil Ours and Ora Belle Fox Ours, of Buckhannon, West Virginia; a daughter, Judy Mae Tenney; sisters Ida Belle Ours Tenney, Wilda Ours Tenney; brothers, Harold, Sanford, and Noble Ours. She is survived by her brother, Robert Ours; sisters Patty Ours Gifford, and Patty Mahan; and daughter, Vicki Lynn Tenney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Izella was a loving wife, and mother. She was a wonderful, gifted, and talented Christian woman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She loved to crochet, embroider, quilt, sew, and was a big helping hand to her husband and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Izella’s 3rd great grandfather, John Godfrey Ours (Auer) came to America from Singen, Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttenberg, Germany, settling in West Virginia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her father, Virgil Ours, lived to be over 100 years old before his passing in 2001. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was very proud of her family after growing up on a large farm with several brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
