Brake 1919-2003 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a style=\"color:Tomato; \" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randolph-county-west-virginia-area-obituaries\/\">Return Randolph County Area Obituaries Home Page<\/a><\/center><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Oral A. Brake, 84, of Nella\u2019s Nursing Home in Elkins and formerly of Cox\u2019s Mills, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at the nursing home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born June 12, 1919, in Duffy, the son of the late Ora Brake and Frona Woods Smith Brake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was preceded in death by two wives, Elsie Brake and Virginia Palmer Brake.Surviving are one sister, Juanita Garrett Murphy of Salem; and 18 nieces and nephews. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Smith; and one sister, Stella Smith Ware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a lumberman and a Protestant by faith. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kincaid Cemetery near Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alkire Funeral Chapel of Ireland is in charge of the arrangements for Oral A.
