Ruth Andrew Brown, 86 of 50 Marion St., Buckhannon, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, in Spencer\u2019s Personal Care in Buckhannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Coffee County, Ga., a daughter of the late Oliver and Ethel Kirkland McKinnon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She married Glenn L. Brown, who survives in Weston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also surviving are one son, James F. Andrew, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; one stepson, Glenn Brown Jr. of Weston; one stepgrandson, David Brown of Washington, D.C.; and three nieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was preceded in death by one sister and her first husband, Francis E. Andrew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was the former owner of radio stations WHAW and WSSN in Weston and Andrew\u2019s Jeweler in Buckhannon and Elkins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 18 of Buckhannon, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and a Christian by faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friends will be received at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father Marian Mazgaj officiating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entombment will follow in Buckhannon Mausoleum in Buckhannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
