Burl R. Harper, 73, of Twinsburg, OH died Oct. 28 at Cleveland Clinical Hospital, after five and a half months waiting for a heart transplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was born June 15, 1928, in Dry Fork, a son of the late John R. Harper and Elizabeth Mauzy Harper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Survivors include wife, Fran of Twinsburg; a daughter, Patti (and Thomas) Homes of Solon, OH; a son, David (and Diane) Harper of Willoughby, OH; and grandchildren Thomas (and Michelle) Homes of Solon, OH; three sisters, Mary (and Don) Dysle of Canton, OH, Alta (and David) Jenkins and a son Mark of Akron, OH; Martha Alice Swann and son Joseph Harper of Davis; a niece, Beverly (and Mark) Kuster, Massillon, OH; a sister-in-law, Adella Harper, Gadsden, AL; son Harold (and LaVern) Harper; daughter, Kitta (and Joey) Michaels of Gadsden, Al; and nephews, Richard and Ronald Lantz of Oakland, and niece, Donna (and Willie) Duley of Independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Harper, graduated from East High School, Akron, in 1946, and retired from T.R.W. of Cleveland, with 35 years of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fuenral mass was held Nov. 1, at Church of the Resurrection in Solon. Interment followed in All Souls Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
