Ella Frances Teter, 94, formerly of Onego, and for the past seven years a patient in Nella\u2019s Nursing Home, Crystal Springs, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at the nursing home.

She was born April 24, 1908, at Onego, a daughter of the late Columbus Long and Stella Burns.

She was married to Zola Lee Teter, who preceded her in death on June 28, 1969.

Surviving are two daughters, Velma Crites, Glen Burnie, Md., and Louann Smith, Edgewater, Fla.; four sons, Kenneth Ray Teter, Riverton, Bruce Teter, Petersburg, Jerry Teter, Bruceton Mills, and Ward Teter, Onego; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jerry Reynolds Teter; two sons, Donnie Teter and Hansel Teter; three brothers, Jim Long, Homan Long and Glenn Long; and four sisters, Laura Long, Sylvia Mallow, Martha Davis and Flora White.

She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

Friends will be received at Seneca United Methodist Church at Onego today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the church Tuesday at noon with the Rev. Stanley Kile and the Rev. Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in Teter Family Cemetery at Onego. Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of the arrangements. From 31 Mar 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
