Sue was born on January 12th1944 to the late Carl Denver Lantz and Imogene Reid Lantz. On August 3rd 1979 she married Lindon Gene Stone, who preceded her in death on December 23rd 2019. Sue attended Marshall University and WV Business College. Her careers included working at the Upshur County Development Center, MPL, &amp; WVWC and she was active for several years at the Upshur County Emergency Squad. She is survived by her son, Lindon \u201cLenny\u201d Stone II and her daughter, Tammy Chidester and husband Rick, of Buckhannon. Three grandchildren Rachel (Justin) Kirk of Holly Springs, NC, Courtney (Sheldon) Page and Alex (Katie) Chidester of Buckhannon; one brother, Clyde (Sharon) Lantz of Buckhannon. She will be reunited in Heaven with her siblings Starlene (Lantz) Howes, Danny Lantz, and Leonard Lantz. Friends will be received Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM at The Way of Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
