Ronnie Dwayne \u201cDaydreamer\u201d Raines, Sr., 60, a resident of Rock Cave, passed from this life Friday, March 4, 2022, at WV Caring Hospice Center.

Ronnie was born Monday, March 27,1961, in Essex, MD, a son of the late Clyde Edwin Raines and Betty Lou Hannah.

Left to cherish Ronnie\u2019s memory are two children, Ronnie \u201cRJ\u201d Raines and Tiffany Raines and fianc\u00e9, Vinnie Gaines, four siblings, Valinda Scott and husband, Mart, Victor Dale Raines and companion, DeeDee, Brenda Shifflett and companion, Mike, and Larry Raines, Ronnie\u2019s best friend, Jerome Kyle, and his stepdad with whom he was very close, Neal McCauley.

Preceding Ronnie in death besides his parents was his stepmother, Ella Raines and a sister, Vicky Johnson.

Ronnie had worked as a truck driver for Hammonds Trucking and Hayes Scott. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and camping. He loved visiting with and talking to people!

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 11am until 1pm, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
