Deborah \u201cDebbie\u201d Lynn Channell, 66, a resident of Valley Head, passed from this life Saturday, February 19, 2022, at home with loving family by her side and under the care of West Virginia Caring.

Debbie was born Saturday, July 23, 1955, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Dorfice A. and Gracie E. Bodkins Channell. She had never married.

Left to cherish Debbie\u2019s memory are seven brothers, Andrew Channell and wife, Lovey, of Tinley Park, IL, Denzil Channell and wife, Janet, of Brewer, ME, Don Channell and wife Natalie, of Salisbury, MD, Robert Channell and wife, Rosalie, of Essex, MD, Gerald Channell and wife, Rhonda, of Valley Head, Steve Channell and wife, Faye, of Elkins, and Randall Channell of Mentor OH, five sisters, Ruth Burris of Warren OH, Evelyn Kronk of Sarasota, FL, Doloris Masiers and husband, Junior, of Snellville, GA, Sandy Sheats and husband, Al, of Bear, DE, and Linda Hamrick and husband, David, of Elkins, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Debbie in death besides her parents was one sister, Helen Warner.

Debbie was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School with the class of 1973, and she had worked in housekeeping at Snow-Shoe Resort. She had taken care of her mother and father until their deaths. She was a devoted Christian and had attended the Valley Head United Methodist Church.

Debbie\u2019s request for cremation will be honored and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Debbie\u2019s honor be made to the charity of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
