Interesting Article on repairing garden tools instead of replacing them – interesting topic when compared with today disposable society<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today most people will choose to dispose of a broken tool and buy another tool, the attitude is reflected in the qualilty of tools sold today, why buy quallity tools, when you can cheap tools and replace the tools when used up, cheap tools come with the expectation of short life and early replacement<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These articles led to a monthly column in Boy’s Life – The Slide of the Month by Whittlin Jim Column<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles<\/p>\n\n\n\n
