A popoular subject for neckerchief slides, Steers, mainly because they are associate with the old west<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a simple neckerchief slide that is easy to make, the issues might come from the horns, they can break off while carving, if this happens make another horn and attach by carving a small hole in the head and glue it in place<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These articles led to a monthly column in Boy’s Life – The Slide of the Month by Whittlin Jim Column<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles<\/p>\n\n\n\n
