Charles Wesley Lipscomb, 73, a resident of Etam, passed from this life Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the home of his sister, Barbara Johnson, in St. George.

Charles was born Tuesday, September 7, 1948, in Erwin, a son of the late Jack Lipscomb and Glenda Mae Bennett Lipscomb.

Left to cherish Charles\u2019 memory is his daughter, Alicia Lipscomb and companion, Elvis Zinn, Jr. of Kingwood, his sister, Barbara Johnson and husband, Jimmy, of St. George, two grandchildren, Alexandria Brand and Jaxon Jordan, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, his dog, Buckeye.

Preceding Charles in death besides his parents were two sisters, Vickie Jones and Betty Ridenour.

Charles attended the schools of Preston County. He had worked for several gas well companies, Forman\u2019s Construction, and Sypolt Sawmill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and visiting people. He was always on the go and loved to help friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held at Hostetler Funeral Home on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 12pm until 1pm, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery at St. George.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
