Garnetta Rutherford Louk 1930-2018 Obituary<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

Mrs. Garnetta Rutherford Louk, age 88 years, a resident of Horizon Ridge Road, Belington, departed this life Thursday morning November 15, 2018. Death was followed by a period of declining health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born March 2, 1930 at Randolph County, a daughter of the late Wayne and Thelma Hazel Rader Rutherford. On February 2, 1951 she was united in marriage to Daniel Louk, who preceded her in death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is survived by five children; Jerry L. Louk of Buckhannon, Carlton \u201cMike\u201d Louk of Belington, Jay Louk of Belington, Lois Summers address unknown and Mikey Louk of Belington. Also surviving are thirty-three grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several siblings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four children; Neil Louk, Eleanor Swick, Charles Louk and Laverne Kay Louk, step mother; Emma Miller and several siblings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garnetta attended the schools of Randolph County, was a Christian by faith and was a homemaker. She was formerly employed by Memorial General Hospital in the house keeping department from which she retired. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family and looked forward to each and every visit from them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Saturday November 17, 2018 from 7 -9 pm. Per Garnetta\u2019s request cremation will be honored. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Garnetta Rutherford Louk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
