Death was sudden and unexpected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born October 11, 1965 at Elkins, a daughter of the late Daniel Ray Louk and Garnetta Rutherford Louk, who survives in Belington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter; Angela Watson and fianc\u00e9 James Lane of Elkins, one son; Jason Louk and companion Melissa of Volga, five siblings; Mike Louk, Lois Louk, Jerry Louk, Mikey Louk, and Jay Louk. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren; Mariah, Mathew, Abrah, David, Rachel, Ragan, and Jason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three siblings; Neil Louk, Eleanor Swick, and Charles Louk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laverne attended the schools of Barbour County and was a Protestant by Faith. She was previously employed by Mountaineer in Home Care where she provided care for the elderly. She loved to be with her grandchildren and family and looked forward to each and every visit from them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Sunday March 11, 2018 from 11am -2pm the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E Tallman officiating. Interment will then follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery near Belington. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com.
