An antenna was and still is, another name for an aerial, the name dates back to the 1920, and literally means and antenna in the air, as apposed to inside your house<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same technology for aerials was used in 1920s, into the 1950s, and continuses in use today<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So this article applies equally today as it did in 1951<\/p>\n\n\n\n
