Ruth Donal Bennett Mullennex Obituary 1927-2020<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ruth Donal Bennett Mullennex, 93, a resident of Harman, departed this life Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at the Mansfield Place at Philippi, WV. She had been in declining health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born Saturday, Aug. 9, 1927 at Job, a daughter of the late Coy and Phoebe Harper Bennett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was married to John Wesley Mullennex, who preceded her in death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surviving are one son, John M. Mullennex of Harman; four grandchildren, John M. Mullennex, II of Morgantown, Lauren Bourne and husband Eric of Weeki Wachee, Florida, Richard Mullennex and wife Joni of Harman and James Mullennex and wife Celeste of Harman; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by one son, Howard D. Mullennex; three brothers, Harry Bennett, Tom Bennett and Gerald Bennett; and five sisters, Grace Harper, Gretel Bennett, Bonnie Bennett, Cleta White and Violet Nance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She attended the Job Elementary School and Harman High School. She was a homemaker and a farmer\u2019s wife. She was an active member of the Job United Methodist Church since 1931. She was a former employee, cleaning for the Land of Canaan. She was a very productive lady.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family will receive friends at the Job United Methodist Church at Job on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final rites will be conducted at the Church on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Mike Lambert will officiate and interment will follow at the White Cemetery at Lower Dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we follow the CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Ruth Donal Bennett Mullennex. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
