Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born on June 25, 1996, in Elkins, WV. She is survived by her parents, Johnny and Linda Godfrey Gum, of Summersville; her daughter, Kaia Gum of Summersville; two sisters: Amber and husband Carl Arcaro of Wilmington, Delaware and Whitny and husband Davis Armour of Ft. Worth, Texas; maternal grandmother, Ilene Malcolm and husband Ron of Volga; maternal grandfather, Arley J. Godfrey and wife Cathy of Frenchton; four aunts: Connie and husband Bill Gibson, Donna and husband Randy Zickefoose, Melinda Eddy, and Shelby Godfrey; and one uncle, Darius Godfrey. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Wayne Gum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chelsea was an avid reader, a talented sketch artist, and loved spending time with her daughter, who was the light of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The body will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 1-2:00 p.m., at the Heavner &amp; Cutright Funeral Chapel.
