Death was attributed to cancer.<br><br>He was born Monday, Oct. 27, 1980, at Elkins, a son of Eugene Edward McSpadden of Elkins and Pamela Louise White McSpadden Peters of Beverly.<br><br>Also surviving are his companion, Holly; stepmother, Nora Ellen McSpadden of Elkins; his stepfather, Robert Peters of Beverly; two brothers, Mitchell Keith McSpadden and wife, Ann, of Beverly; Michael Edward McSpadden and wife, Roberta, of Elkins; one half brother, Cody Shane McSpadden; two nieces, Mackenzie and Peyton McSpadden; and several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.<br><br>He attended Elkins High School and the Randolph County Vocational-technical Center. He had worked for Poe Run, Ricottilli and Coastal Lumber companies as well as other various lumber companies of the area, enjoyed 4-wheeling and camping, and was an avid outdoorsman, especially loving bear hunting and fishing. He was a faithful follower of the WDNE trading post.<br><br>The family will receive friends at Lohr &amp; Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home Friday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. Pastor Leon Brown will officiate, and interment will follow in Collett Cemetery at Hambleton.<br><br>The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Davis Memorial Hospital Cancer Care Center, 801 Harrison Ave., Elkins, WV 26241.
