Georgia B. Haddix, 84, a resident of Lavalette Avenue, Elkins, passed away at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in the Davis Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 12, 1918, at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Percy L. and Carrie B. Armstrong Haddix.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn L. Potts Brown, Triangle, Va.; two sons, Gerald M. Potts, Maryville, Tenn., and David W. Potts of Elkins; one brother, Bryan Jackson Haddix of Orlando, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Glendine Marie Potts Minners; two sisters, Virginia Daniels and Frances Wiese; and one brother, James Haddix.

She was employed by Davis Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement in 1983 and was a Baptist by faith. Her family will love and cherish the many memories that she leaves behind. God bless you Mother.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Marvin L. Parli and Pastor J. David Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, West Virginia Affiliate, PO Box 11062, Charleston, W.Va. 25339.<\/p>
