Mary Ann Parks, 63, of Route 3, the Harding community, Belington, died at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jan. 7. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Mrs. Parks was born July 23, 1938, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Cutright and Hattie Marie Cutright Taylor.
In July 1985, she married William “Bill” Parks, who survives in Harding.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jay (Shirley) Mahoney, Martinsburg, Mrs. Roy (Tammy) Poling, Grafton, Mrs. Kenny (Charlene) Winters, Tunnelton, and Mrs. Jeff (Barbara) Jones, Martinsburg; a son, Johnnie Cutright, Elkins; four sisters, Betty Fortney, Elkins, Ginny Meadows, Junior, Louise Harris, Talbott Road, and Evelyn Golden, Philippi; a brother, Leroy Cutright, Junior 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Taylor, Pauline Taylor and Ruth Cutright; and a brother, Robert E. Lee Cutright.
Mrs. Parks had been in earlier years employed by Nella’s and then by Reidbord Brothers for several years until retiring. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at F.E. Runner Funeral Home today after 6 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Walter H. Blough, retired Brethren minister of Elkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. State Memorial Gardens in Gilman.<\/p>
