{"id":74547,"date":"2021-01-13T21:31:51","date_gmt":"2021-01-13T21:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/robert-lee-riggleman-1921-2002\/"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","slug":"robert-lee-riggleman-1921-2002","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/robert-lee-riggleman-1921-2002\/","title":{"rendered":"Robert Lee Riggleman 1921-2002"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Robert Lee Riggleman, 80, of 515 Davis St., Elkins, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at his home.<br><br>Mr. Riggleman was born June 22, 1921, in Valley Bend, a son of the late Adam and Russie Stalnaker Riggleman.<br><br>On Dec. 12, 1942, in Elkins, he married Pauline Scott Riggleman, who survives in Elkins.<br><br>Also surviving are a son, Robert Lynn Riggleman, Elkins; two daughters, Paula Epply, Elkins, and Katherine Arbaugh, Dailey; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.<br><br>He was preceded in death by a son, Lewis &#8220;Skip&#8221; Riggleman; and a sister, Beula Currence.<br><br>Mr. Riggleman was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years and was employed by the West Virginia Department of Highways for 30 years, where he retired as county superintendent.<br><br>Funeral Arrangements: Graveside services will be at Elkins Memorial Gardens Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter H. Blough officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hospice, 1410 Crim Ave., Belington, W.Va. 26250.
