He was born Sunday February 10, 1952 in Elkins, WV a son of the late Burley and Lorina Gill Wilson. Shorty attended the schools of Randolph County. He was employed as a general laborer in the construction field. He enjoyed woodworking very much. He loved flower gardening and ginsenging. He had moved to Byesville in October 2009. On Sunday January 12, 2003 in Beverly, WV he married the former Patricia Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Cindy Wilson; one brother: Estel Wilson; step-father: Stephen Rader and two step-brothers: Justin and James Rader. Shorty will be sadly missed by his loving wife: Patricia Thomas Wilson of Byesville, OH; three daughters: April Wilson and Lori Ward both of Elkins, WV and Wendi Miller of Beverly, WV; two sons: Ronald Galleher of Elkins, WV and Seth Miller and wife Jessica of Larue, OH; daughter-in-his heart: Kandi Herron of Huttonsville, WV; eleven grandchildren; four sisters: Ruby Channel and husband Roger of Elkins, WV, Evelena Taylor and husband David &#8220;Butch&#8221; Taylor of Valley Bend, Loretta Martin of Elkins,WV and Maxine Metz and husband Kenny of Montrose, WV; three brothers: Leon Wilson and wife Pam, Cecil Wilson and Steve Wilson and wife Donna all of Beverly, WV; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; one step-sister: Janet Arbogast and husband Allen of Elkins, WV; one step-brother: Clyde Rader of Elkins, WV and half-brother: Arlen Wilson of VA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday March 18th, 2010 at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
