Ralph Goodwin, age 99, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, July 16, 2010 at Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab. Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born October 26, 1910 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Herman Otis \u201cH.O.\u201d and Cornelia “Nelia” Pulliam Goodwin. On November 3, 1936 he married Virginia Jones who preceded him in death on December 3, 2008. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, David Goodwin and two brothers, Ray and Ross Goodwin. He is survived by one son, Lowell Goodwin and wife Mary Ann of Clarksburg; one granddaughter, Amber Goodwin of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandsons, Scott Goodwin of Bridgeport, WV and Darren Goodwin and wife Maurine of Clarksburg; one great-grandson, Tyler Scott Goodwin of Bridgeport; one great-granddaughter, Sydney Grace Goodwin of Clarksburg and one sister, LaVoo Hollen of Deland, FL. Mr. Goodwin was a coal miner and a salesman for Electrolux and Dutch Oven. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 3-9 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with Gary Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.<\/p>
