{"id":76724,"date":"2021-03-04T13:16:43","date_gmt":"2021-03-04T13:16:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/sylvia-helen-white-summerfield-1930-2010-obituary\/"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","slug":"sylvia-helen-white-summerfield-1930-2010-obituary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/sylvia-helen-white-summerfield-1930-2010-obituary\/","title":{"rendered":"SYLVIA HELEN WHITE SUMMERFIELD 1930-2010 Obituary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">SYLVIA HELEN WHITE SUMMERFIELD 1930-2010 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a style=\"color:Tomato; \" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randolph-county-west-virginia-area-obituaries\/\">Return to Randolph County Area Obituaries Home Page<\/a><\/center><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p>SYLVIA \u201cHELEN\u201d WHITE SUMMERFIELD, age 80 years, a resident of Parsons, WV departed this life Sunday evening, November 28, 2010 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins, WV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born Wednesday, October 1, 1930 at Elk, Tucker County, WV, a daughter of the late William \u201cWill\u201d White and Nora Mae Nelson White. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 10, 1949 at Oakland, Md, she was married to Cecil Glenn Summerfield, who preceded her in death July 12, 1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surviving are two sons, Cecil William Summerfield and wife Roxy of Winchester, VA, Ricky Glenn Summerfield and wife Norma of Parsons; two daughters, Slona \u201cSissy\u201d Bolinger and husband Lakin of Parsons, Ruby Ann Miller and husband Timothy of Holly Meadows; three sisters, Jessie Phillips of Elkins, Bessie Carr and husband Albert \u201cPete\u201d and Betty Roy and husband Stelman, all of Parsons; one granddaughter, Kelly Ricketts of Winchester, VA and two great grandchildren, Kevin Summerfield and Bradley Ricketts, both of Winchester, VA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preceding her in death are four brothers, Edgar, Dick, Junior and Frank White; and three sisters, Dolly White and infants Grace and Minnie White.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She attended the Elk one room school at Sapplin Ridge and Parsons High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was a former employee of the Tucker County Board of Education as a Cook for twenty nine years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She loved working with her flowers, cooking, baking and she was known for making such good chili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family will receive friends at the Lohr &amp; Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:30 AM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pastor Allen D.
