On October 16, 1953 at Red House, MD she was married to Staff Sergeant Lawrence Howard Nicholas, Sr., who preceded her in death September 20, 1972. Surviving are one son, Lawrence Howard Nicholas, Jr., MD; two daughters, Cassandra M. \u201cSandy\u201d Williams, Crestview, FL; Marcia E. Nicholas, TX; two grandchildren, Chester Williams, III; and Christopher Nicholas; five great granddaughters, her aunt Doris Payne and a host of cousins, in-laws and friends; and devoted friend &amp; caregiver Richard L. McKinnie.<br><br>She graduated from Riverside High School with the Class of 1951. She had worked for the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, the Environmental Protection Agency at Washington, D.C. for many years and retired from Vitro Construction at MD.<br><br>Graveside Services will be conducted at the Maplewood Cemetery at Elkins, WV, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 11 AM. The Rev.
