Kenneth Neal Metz,60, a resident of Montrose, WV entered into eternal rest early evening Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins,WV surrounded by family. He was born Friday November 24, 1950 in Tucker County, WV, a son of the late Carl and Okie Corder Metz. Kenneth was a life long resident of Tucker County, WV who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed woodworking very much. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. On Saturday August 28, 1999 in Beverly, WV he married the love of his life Maxine Victoria Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: May, Mary and Geneva Metz and two brothers: Ben and Dale Metz. Left to cherish his memories are his wife : Maxine Victoria Wilson Metz of Montrose, WV; one daughter: Tina Metz and husband of VA; one son: Nicholas “Nick” Metz and wife Kim of Tucker County, WV; four sisters: Sharron Piper and husband Dale, Rose Giddley and husband Doug, Judy Stone and husband Fred and Glenda Girbbs all of Parsons, WV; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many friends. At Kenneth’s request his body will be cremated.The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.<\/p>
