FREDA RUTH CURRENCE CLARK, age 89 years, a resident of Mill Creek, WV departed this life early Wednesday morning, January 26, 2011 at Nella\u2019s Incorporated at Crystal Springs.

She was born Friday, September 9, 1921 at Mill Creek, WV a daughter of the late Garland Currence and Lena Shifflett Currence. During 1947 at Oakland, MD she was married to Curtis L. Clark, who preceded her in death during 2004. Surviving are thirteen nieces and nephews including two nieces, Georgia M. Scott, Mill Creek; Louise M. Phillips, Elkins; and several great nieces and nephews including Vicki Ratliff and Allen McCollam.

Preceding her in death are four sisters, Fannie McCollam; Ellie Wamsley; Georgia Armstrong and an infant, Irene.

Freda attended the schools of Mill Creek, had worked as a Laborer for a Spring Company at Cleveland, OH and was a Presbyterian by faith.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Mill Creek Cemetery at Mill Creek, WV. The Rev. Randy Long will officiate and interment will follow.<\/p>
