MARY \u201cHESTER\u201d WILLIAMS FREY, age 86 years, a resident of Grafton and Parsons, WV, departed this life early Saturday morning, December 26, 2009 at Cortland Acres Nursing Home at Thomas.

She was born Sunday, April 8, 1923 at Bull Run, St. George, WV, a daughter of the late Ira Hansford Williams, Sr., and Anna Belle Phillips Williams. She was married to Garfield Frey, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons; Charles A. Frey and wife Ann of Grafton, Wayne Garfield Frey of Albany, TX; one sister, Dottie Anna Knicley of Parsons, one adopted sister, Mildred Collette and husband Roger of Parsons; two grandchildren, Charlie A. Frey, Jr. and wife Stephanie and Tina Marie Bonafield; two great grandchildren, Christian and Connor Bonafield; four step grandchildren, Lindy Hoffa, Kathy Catania, Alice Bean and Sonya Williams.

Preceding her in death are six brothers, Virgil, Cecil, Denver, Ira, Hoy and Roy Williams; and two sisters, Dakota Howdyshell and Madeline Zinn.

She attended the one room #4 School at Bull Run and also the schools of Grafton. She was a homemaker, loved to cook and she kept house for various families. She was known at Cortland Acres as having a million dollar smile.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11 AM. Pastor Allen Dale Crosten will officiate and interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery at Kasson.<\/p>
