{"id":97997,"date":"2021-03-24T14:07:25","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T14:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/martha-alice-hovey-1937-2012-obituary\/"},"modified":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T01:05:10","slug":"martha-alice-hovey-1937-2012-obituary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/martha-alice-hovey-1937-2012-obituary\/","title":{"rendered":"Martha Alice Hovey 1937-2012 Obituary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\">Martha Alice Hovey 1937-2012 Obituary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a style=\"color:Tomato; \" href=\"https:\/\/www.snapwhole.com\/index.php\/randolph-county-west-virginia-area-obituaries\/\">Return to Randolph County Area Obituaries Home Page<\/a><\/center><br><br>\n\n\n\n<p>Martha \u201cAlice\u201d Hovey Martha Alice Hovey, 74, of Belington and Mantua, Oh., died Friday evening, June 1, at her Belington home, following an extended illness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born September 9, 1937, at Philippi, a daughter of the late Hugh Branson Baughman and the late Mary Susan (Gainer) Baughman Phillips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 10, 1956, at the Cross Roads Methodist Church, she was married to Harvey James \u201cJim\u201d Hovey, who survives at Belington and Mantua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah K. Orzechowski and husband, Richard, Angela K. Rang and husband, Eric, all of Mantua, Oh., Mary K. McFarland and husband, Michael, Streetsboro, Oh.; three grandchildren, Brian Anthony Orzechowski and wife, Brittany, Katie Jelaine Orzechowski and fianc\u00e9, Joshua Mortus, Brandon Michael McFarland and wife, Lacey; an expected great grandchild, Jonah Anthony Orzechowski; two sisters, Mary Frances Stiles and husband, John, Tallahassee, Fla., Sara Childs and husband, Dick, Forest Hill, Md.; three brothers-in-law, William (Deanna) Hovey, Philippi, Edward (Dot) Hovey, Greenville, S.C., and David (Sandy) Hovey, Smithville, Va.
