In June of 1953 at New York, he was married to the former Enis Chichetelli, who preceded him in death.<br><br>Surviving are one daughter, Ann Marie Canale of Daytona, FL; one brother Frank Canale of Scarsdale, NY; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.<br><br>Preceding him in death is one daughter, Caroline.<br><br>He attended the schools of New York. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former New York City Police Officer for twenty three years.<br><br>The family will receive friends at the Lohr &#038; Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Friday from 5 to 8 PM. On Friday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home, a wake service will be recited by the Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs V.F. On Saturday September 14, 2013 at the funeral home, final rites will be conducted at 2:00 pm by the Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs V.F. Interment will follow at the Saint Brendan Cemetery, where the W.V. Army National Guard Honor Guard, the H. W.
