Lisa Ann Bright Eye, a much loved mother, daughter, sister and niece, 52, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She had bravely confronted and fought cancer, but lost the battle at the Cleveland Clinic with her daughter, family and friends by her side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa was born October 18, 1962, the daughter of Eldred Bright and the late Shirley Bright. Lisa attended High School in Tucker County and graduated in 1980. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After High School she worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and returned later to Tucker County to receive her nursing degree at Davis and Elkins College in 2002. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was then employed at Davis Memorial Hospital. Her most recent employment was at Fairmont General as an ER nurse. Lisa was blessed with a large, loving family and close group of friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a nurturing and trustworthy individual, who loved the outdoors, gardening, walks on the beach and was passionate about her dogs, Annie and McGyver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa will always be remembered by her adventurous, fun loving spirit and boisterous laugh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa is survived by her beloved daughter and best friend, Jessica Eye of Farmington, her father, Eldred Bright; Aunt, Virginia Kyle; Sisters, Susan Garcia, Beverly Brown, Lois Smith, Michelle Draper; Brother, Eldred \u2018Kipp\u2019 Bright; Brothers-in-law, Sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family would like to thank Dr. Abraham and Nancy Dalpiaz, RN at the Cleveland Clinic for their compassion and dedication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitation will be held on Friday at the Summerfield Funeral Home from 5pm \u2013 8pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 25th at 10am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lisa\u2019s life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Bradley Barton will officiate and interment will follow in Bright\u2019s Chapel Cemetery in Dry Fork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
