Edna Williams Shumaker Maxwell 1943-2013 Obituary
Edna Maxwell, 69, of Buckhannon, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Glenville Care and Rehabilitation Center in Glenville
She was born June 24, 1943, in Orlando, a daughter of the late Frank and Nina Alta Shipman Skinner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Williams; second husband, Frank Shumaker; third husband Ron Maxwell; and her sister, Anna Louise Crutchfield.
Mrs. Maxwell was a telephone operator for Verizon and was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America Chapter 42.
She attended the South Buckhannon Mission Church, and was also a Salvation Army Volunteer.
Friends will be received Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Orlando Cemetery in Lewis County.
