Albert Vincent Nelson Obituary 1941-2013
Albert Vincent “The Can Man” Nelson, 71, of Dry Fork, passed away Jan. 9, 2013. at his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1941, at Smoke Hole, Grant County, a son of the late Jonathan William Nelson and Grace Aniline VanMeter Nelson.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Johnny and Charles Nelson; and one sister, Susan Nelson.
He is survived by one brother, Sammy Nelson of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Albert worked in his early years in Akron Ohio, and then at Hinchcliff Lumber Co. He also worked as a farm hand helping farmers in the Dry Fork community
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home Sunday, Jan. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Ric Lewellen officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. State Memorial Gardens.
