Pauline Hazel Dodrill, age 83 years, a former resident of Huttonsville for 30 years and a resident of the Glenmore Community for the past ten years, passed away Friday afternoon, August 5, 2011 in the Hospice Care Regional Inpatient Center in Elkins with her family by her side. She was born September 6, 1927 at Valley Head, a daughter of the late Charles Bruce and Agista Lindsay Arbogast. On November 15, 1946 she married Jennings Dodrill who preceded her in death on February 7, 2007. They had celebrated sixty years of marriage. Surviving are one daughter, Evelyn Snyder and husband Larry of Elkins, one granddaughter, Jodie Parrack and husband Ryan of Beverly, one grandson, Kirk Snyder of Pittsburgh, PA, a great granddaughter, Kara LeeAnne Parrack of Beverly and Mrs. Dodrill’s cat “Patches”.

Mrs. Dodrill was a homemaker and worked for the Mill Creek Coffee Shop and was a former Avon Representative. She was a member of the Huttonsville Rebekah Lodge No. 103, the Mill Creek United Methodist Church and attended the Landmark Baptist Church in Elkins.

Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins and from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Monday, August 8th the funeral hour. Rev. Kenneth Dodrill will officiate and interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Airport Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care Regional Inpatient Center, 169 Diamond St., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Mrs. Dodrill.
