Deborah Lynn Warner Valentine, age 53 years, a resident of East Dailey, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born December 15, 1957 in Elkins a daughter of Tom Warner of Beverly and Gloria June Arbogast Warner of Dailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jeffrey ”Wimpy” Valentine on April 22, 2009. Also surviving are her step mother, Becky Warner, Beverly, step father, Steve Warner of Dailey, grandmother, Mildred “Micky” Bennett, Beverly. One daughter, Cassandra Noel Valentine, East Dailey, a step daughter, Michelle Dawn Valentine Talkington and husband Bryan of Elkins, one brother, Donnie Warner and wife Angel, Huttonsville, one sister, Cathy Ringer and husband Mike, Norton, grandchildren, Annalynn Phoenix Valentine of East Dailey, Thomas Aaron Talkington and Isaac Logan Talkington, both of Elkins, two step brothers, Tony Shaver and wife Tara, Matt Shaver, two step sisters, Angie McWilliams and husband Bennie and Monica Lawrence and husband John, several aunts and uncles including, Donna Allan and husband Randy of Beverly, Jerry Warner and fiancé Denise Leach, special aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Larry Knicely of Ocala, FL, Wanda Morgan and husband Gary of East Dailey and several cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends also survive.

Debbie was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School with the Class of 1977. She was co-owner of Wimpy’s of Elkins with her late husband. She was employed as a Dietary Aide at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center and was a member of the Tygarts Valley Baptist Church in Beverly.

Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday from the funeral home with Pastor Jack Howell officiating. Cremation will follow. The family asks that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Center, 801 Harrison Ave., Elkins, WV 26241, Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, 1175 Beverly Pike, Elkins, WV 26241 or to Mountain Hospice, 1600 Crim Avenue, Belington, WV 26250 in memory of Debbie. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Deborah Lynn Warner Valentine.
