CHARLES EDWARD “ED” BOHAN Charles Edward “Ed” Bohan, 71, of Junior, died Wednesday morning, February 9, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1939, at Elkins, a son of the late Blaine Garlane and Bernice Lillian (Lantz) Bohan. On November 16, 1963, he married the former Delores Mae “Goog”Richardson, who preceded him in death on November 29, 2004. Surviving are one daughter, Sherri A. Shiflett and husband, Mark, Junior; two sons, Charles E. Bohan II and wife, Susan, Junior, Greg Richardson and wife, Bonnie, Philippi; three grandchildren, Marc Shiflett, Camilla Shiflett and Dakota Bohan; five step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchldren; one sister, Sue Riggleman, Wye Mills, MD; a special aunt and uncle, Rosella and Stewart Chester, Dundas, MN; aunts, Natalea Shomo, Junior and Jean Sines, Elkins; sisters-in-law, Ellen Tenney, Cassity and June Bibey, Locust Grove. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Bohan and an infant brother, Bernard D. Bohan. Mr. Bohan had attended the public schools of Randolph County and was a former kitchen laborer in food service at Davis and Elkins College. He had also worked in the Belington Senior Center. He attended the Gospel Light Tabernacle and enjoyed hunting and spending time with family. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, from the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. The Rev. A. H. Belt will officiate and interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Sunday. Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
