OBITUARY: BEARL JEAN TENNEY Bearl Jean Tenney, 78, of Hunters Fork Road, Belington, died Monday, December 19, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born October 15, 1933, at Belington, a daughter of the late Williamson and Lanie May (Cross) Delauder. On October 27, 1957, she was married to Ernest Franklin Tenney, who survives at their home. Also surviving are one son, Roger Tenney, at home; one daughter, Karen Shaver and husband, Letcher, Belington; two grandchildren, Peggy Casey and James Neil McCauley, both of Norton; one brother, Okey James Delauder, Belington. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Jean Tenney; by twin grandchildren, Ernest Franklin and James Cecil McCauley; by one sister, Velvia Audra Delauder; and by three brothers, Charles William Delauder, Junior Earl Delauder and Bernie Delauder. Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 23, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. David Brown will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday and from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour, on Friday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
