LARRY ELLIS KENNEDY Larry Ellis Kennedy, 59, of Berryburg Community, Rt. #1, Flemington, died Wednesday evening, December 2, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1950, at Brownton, Barbour County, a son of the late Harry Marshall and Elda Mae (Mayle) Kennedy. On March 6, 1970, he married the former Linda Lou Croston, who survives at Rt. #1, Flemington. Also surviving are two sisters, Diane Miner and Debbie Jean Kennedy, both of Brownton. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Dewayne Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was a former employee of Republic Steel Corp. in Canton, Oh. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He had attended the Midway Apostolic Church. Mr. Kennedy’s request for simple grave side services was honored at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 5. The Rev. George Cross officiated and interment followed in the Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
