Alfred Joseph Quattro, 80, of Davis, passed away Oct. 29, 2002, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.

He was born July 11, 1922, in Coketon, a son of the late James and Lucy Quattro.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cooper Quattro; two sons, Joseph A. Quattro and James A. Quattro, both of Davis; two brothers, Ernest A. Quattro and James J. Quattro, both of Davis; two sisters, Lucy Quattro of Davis, and Adaline DePollo of Michigan; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia; and three brothers.

Mr. Quattro served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a self employed plumber, a member of the KOC and a member of St. Veronica Catholic Church of Davis.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Thomas Thursday at 11 a.m. with Father Lino Ebejer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
