Amanda Faye Bohon 1969-2021 Obituary
Amanda Faye Bohon, age 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:44am, at her home in Hampton, VA surrounded by most of her immediate family. She was born on Thursday, October 23, 1969, in Tucker County, WV, to Ray Delton Bohon and Lela Amanda Bohon.
Amanda was a 1987 graduate of Tucker County High School. She worked as a Property Manager at Merrimac Apartments in Hampton, VA where she was known by lots of residents by being a very nice, sweet lady who wouldn’t think twice about giving you a second, third, or even fourth chance just to help others out!
Amanda truly lived her life happy by spending anytime she could with her family and friends and going above and beyond for anyone and everyone that came close to her. Amanda had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
Amanda is proceeded in death by one sister; one brother; two grandmas and one grandpa.
She is survived by her companion, Steven Stone; three children, Donnie, Tiffany, and Kristi Poling; three in-laws, Sean Clem, Divine Simpson, and Abby; five grandchildren, Aubrey and Cohan Clem, Noah and Sophia Simpson and Kinsley; both parents, Lela and Ray Bohon; two brothers, Steven and Bernie Bohon; sister-in-law, Lucretia Bohon and lots of nieces and nephews and cousins.
She will truly be missed by many!!!
Visitation will be held at Hostetler Funeral Home on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 2pm. Interment will follow in Moore Family Cemetery in Moore.
