Anna L. Golden Booth, 71, a resident of 808 Johnson Ave. in Belington, departed this life at 1 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at her home. She had been in declining health for quite sometime.

She was born Sept. 26, 1931, at Belington, the daughter of the late John H. and Flora Gibson Golden.

She was three times married, first to Bradford C. Moore, second to Denzil Terrance Sturm, and thirdly, on Sept. 1, 1973, to Gale Booth, who survives at their home in Belington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Wanda Owens, Belington, Kathy Hymes Long, the Teter Creek community, and Marsha Epler, Buckhannon; two sons, John L. Sturm, Mabie, and Terry Moore, Clarksburg; and two stepchildren, Paul White, Elkins, and Angie Booth, Belington.

Also surviving are four brothers, Ronald L. Golden, John A. Golden, Denford Golden and Clinton Golden; nine grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

Preceding her in death were one sister, Darlene Herron; one brother, Leon Golden; and two grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Epler.

Mrs. Booth attended the schools of Barbour County, was a homemaker, was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laurel Mountain Post 410 Ladies Auxiliary in Belington and was a member of the Belington Church of Christ.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. At 7 p.m., the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW will conduct a memorial service. On Sunday, friends will be received until noon, at which time she will be moved to the Belington Church of Christ where friends may call from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., the funeral hour. Evangelist Michael Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery at Belington. The family asks that expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Mrs. Booth to Mountain Hospice, Crim Avenue, Belington. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Anna L. Golden Booth.
