Argil D. White, 73, of 3220 Peroutka Lane, Kossuth, Wisc., went home to Jesus on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at his residence.

Argil was born July 27, 1930, in West Virginia, the son of the late Grover and Mabel Hartman White.

He had been a Mishicot-area resident for the past eight years, formerly residing in Green Bay.

Mr. White served in the U.S. Air Force as a meteorologist during the Korean Conflict, and married the former Kay Kenny on Jan. 28, 1995, in Green Bay.

Mr. White was founder of the J.V. Manufacturing Co. in Ashwabenon.

He was a member of the Grace Congregational Church in Two Rivers. He once held a part in a movie with Gene Autry and was a world traveler. He obtained the status of a Kentucky Colonel for his many accomplishments while living in Kentucky.

Surviving are his wife, Kay; three daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Coenen and husband, Chris, of Cecil, Wisc., Jaclyn Graf and her special friend, Jeff Kasubaski, both of Winneconne, Wisc., and Julie Morrell of Neenah, Wisc.; one son, Timothy White of Florida; three grandchildren, Sean, Carly and her husband, Grant, and Maya.

He is further survived by two stepsons, Charles Floading and his wife, Lisa, of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and Thomas Floading of Green Bay, Wisc.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Stalnaker of West Virginia and Mrs. Don (Glenda) Bucklew of Florida; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Miriam; four brothers, Hubert, Adrian, Otha and Jim; and one sister, Vada.

A private family memorial service will be at a later date. The White family wishes to express a very special thank you to the Holy Family Hospice for their love, special care and concerns shown to Argil and our family during his brief illness. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 334 S. State St., Mishicot, Wisc., is assisting the White family with arrangements.
