Ashley Nicole White 1987-2003 Obituary
Ashley Nicole White, 16, a resident of the Kerens community, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 7 a.m. in Marlinton. Death was attributed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born March 30, 1987, in Elkins, a daughter of Anthony “Tony” White and companion Kimberly, who survives at Kerens, and Susan C. Schoonover White and companion Edward, who survive in Marlinton.
Also surviving are her paternal grandfather, Bill Long and Rita of Hendricks; paternal grandmother, Donna Vandevender and Bill of Montrose; one sister, Sara Dawn White of Marlinton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Carl and Loretta Jean Schoonover.
She attended Elkins High School. She loved to write and work on computers. She rode 4-wheelers and just loved life in general. She was a Protestant by faith.
Friends will be received at the F.E. Runner Funeral Chapel after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted from the Runner chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Kevin Gainer will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Gilman. The F.E. Runner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
