Betty Jean Miller, age 82 years, a native of Elkins, WV, Randolph County and a resident of Cleveland, Ohio for many years, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in North Royalton, OH. She was born July 3, 1938 in Elkins a daughter of the late Harry Lee Workman and the late Leona Virginia Arbogast Workman. She was formerly married to Charles “Sam” Miller who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Charles M. Miller (Debbie) of East Lake, OH and Richard A Miller of Cleveland, OH. One daughter, Carolyn J Martovitz (Mark) of North Royalton, OH; two sisters, Helen Heckel Cosner and Carol Lee Arbogast both of Elkins; five grandchildren Erica Arpajian (Ronald Jr.), Michael Dennis, Mindi Kasper(Bryan), Richard A. Miller Jr., Mary Martovitz and seven great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding her in death were one brother, Harry C. “Bud” Workman and one sister Mary Workman Williams. Betty was a loving aunt to many. She will be remembered for fun personality and making people laugh. Betty attended the schools of Elkins WV, Randolph County. She was employed at World Stamping and Manufacturing Company in Cleveland, OH for more than twenty years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 8th from the funeral home chapel with Denny Franks officiating. As we continue to follow the mandate of Gov. Jim Justice and the guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control, masks and social distancing will be required for anyone attending the services for Ms. Miller. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins, WV is in charge of the arrangements for Betty Jean Miller.
