Beverly Ann Freeman 1942-2010 Obituary

BEVERLY ANN FREEMAN Beverly Ann Freeman, 67, of Rt. #3, Moatsville, died Saturday, February 20, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following an extended illness. She was born July 29, 1942, at Clemtown Community, a daughter of the late Odbert Ray and Helen Lenore (Cox) Poe. On March 3, 1962, she was married to Karl Kenneth Freeman, who preceded her in death on June 12, 2001. Survivors include, three daughters, Pamela Sue Harris and Karla Kay Thrasher, both of Philippi, Kathy Elaine Younts and husband, Eddie, Powells Point, N.C.; one son, Karl Junior Freeman and wife Patricia, Philippi; one step-son, Mack Freeman and wife, Paula, Lahmansville; three sisters, Jo Poling, Romney, June Mitchell and Linda Summerfield, both of Philippi; eight grandchildren, one great grandson, one step-grandchild and one step-great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by four sons, Sonny James Freeman and three infant sons; by one sister, Mary Jane Runner and by two brothers, Dwight Eugene Poe and Everett Duane Poe. Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker and attended the Moatsville Free Gospel Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 24, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Willis Freeman will officiate and interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Wednesday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
