It is with great sadness that the family of Bobby Joe Ball, 77, announces his passing from this world on February 13, 2021 in the early morning hours at home surrounded by his loved ones, after an extended illness.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Gladys, his two daughters, Charlotte with her husband, Shane and Joyce, with her husband, Wayne, his grandchildren, Brandy with her husband, Matt, Shelly with her husband, Shane, Brittainny, Timmy with his companion, Cindy, and Robbie, four great-grandchildren, Koby, Hunter, Tyson, and Autumn. Bobby came from a big family with four brothers, Jim, Charles, Willard, and the late Larry Ball, five sisters, Sharon, Jean, Donna, Shirley, and Peggy.

Preceding Bobby in death besides his brother were his parents, Aubrey and Ceola Ball, a daughter, Charlene and a son, Ricky.

Bobby was a coalminer who loved to tell stories of the crazy antics of his fellow miners, his truck driving days, growing up with the Ball brothers, and all the nice vehicles he has had over the years. He was an avid sportsman, fishing in the summer and hunting in the fall. He was the kind of man who would help out with whatever you might need because he liked to stay busy especially if there was heavy machinery or engines involved. A dedicated father and husband, he and Bonnie spoiled their children and grandchildren as much as they could over the years. They practically raised their first grandson.

Services will be private.
